Who is responsible
This site, ExtropyNOW (extropynow.online), is the science outreach project of NovaTech, publisher of Charge-Drop, based in H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. For any privacy matter, email novatech001@protonmail.com.
What we process and why
- Charge-Drop launch list (optional). If you use it, we store your email address, the language of the form, the sign-up date and the version of the consent you accepted. We use it for one thing only: sending you a single email on launch day. We don’t ask for your name or phone number.
- Server logs. Like any website, the server records the IP address, browser, requested page and time of each visit. We use them only for security and troubleshooting, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days. Addresses showing abusive behaviour are blocked temporarily.
This site uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or share your data.
Minimum age
The launch list is only for people aged 16 or older. If you’re under 16, you can follow us on TikTok or YouTube without giving us any data.
Legal basis and retention
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. After sending the launch email we delete the whole list, no later than 30 days after launch.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts: your browser downloads the site’s fonts from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- TikTok and YouTube: when you follow the links to our channels, those platforms’ privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent by emailing novatech001@protonmail.com. We will reply within 20 working days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have your rights under the GDPR.
The Charge-Drop app
This notice covers the website only. The app has its own privacy policy.
Changes
If this notice changes, we’ll update the date at the top of the page.
